William R. Brown - Chairman and CEO

 

Mr. Brown is a seasoned corporate CEO with extensive experience as an owner and operator of multi-family and commercial real estate. Prior to making real estate investment and development his full time avocation in 2000, Mr. Brown held senior executive positions with high profile consumer products companies (Estee Lauder, Gucci Timepieces and Montblanc). As President & CEO of Montblanc USA he led that company’s transformation from a purveyor of high quality writing instruments to a true luxury brand. He has served on a number of corporate boards including Charles Letts Holdings, a UK based consumer products company; Boathouse Sports, Inc, a leading producer of custom athletic outerwear; and Letts of London Ltd (Chairman). Mr. Brown received an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Cornell. He served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Cornell Rowing Association from 2000 - 2004; and has served on the advisory council of Cornell’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Personal Enterprise; and the Athletic Council.

 

John P. Crouse, Jr. - President

 

Mr. Crouse is co-founder of Harmony Senior Living and has over 30 years experience designing, developing, constructing and operating major retail, commercial and multi-family projects, totaling more than $800 million in value. Mr. Crouse began his career with The Rouse Company and subsequently joined The Rubin Organization / PREIT where he was Vice President of Retail Operations with responsibility for 22 malls, 34 power centers, and mixed use projects comprising over 23 million square feet in 18 states. John has worked in the senior housing industry since 2006. Mr. Crouse has a BS in Mathematics and an MBA from The University of South Carolina. He is a former member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds their CSM and CMD designations.
